What is This Blog?

Hi. This is basically Jack’s blog. It started as a document of a tour/recording trip, a document of Black Tail Dear (Jack’s solo project) and GunMothers Head (Tucker’s solo project) playing shows on the way from our home base of Olympia WA to Akron OH, where Jack and Tucker, along with Allen and Jeff (the four of whom together constitute These Creatures) made a full-length recording at Audio Eagle Recording Studio.

Jack is a musician – primarily songwriter, pianist, vocalist, music arranger – who lives in Olympia WA. Ze currently plays in three projects: Black Tail Dear (www.myspace.com/blacktaildear), Sleep Together (www.myspace.com/sleeptogether), and These Creatures (www.myspace.com/thesecreatures).
